- ggm 2y agoIf you have read "A Very English Agent" by Julian Rathbone, you get a fictionalised flavour of the times. Or Patrick O'Brian. (lots of machinations around Catalan independence, and the future independent South American states) Jørgensen's life reads like something John Le Carré would write. What do you do with an ex-napoleonic era spy? Wait for boredom to catch up with him, and put him out of the way in Van Diemen's Land.
