Jasse claims Amazon Q saved 4500 years of dev work
- JSDevOps 2y agoI imagine there’s alot of boiler plate code in AWS
- xyst 2y agoAndy is such a joker. It’s clear these were cherry picked examples. “4,500 developer years” saved is definitely a meme-able line from this clown. This is nothing but puffery and a sales pitch for their ChatGPT wrapper.
- toomuchtodo 2y agoAWS is so behind on Gen AI they have to play up the PR.
- fieldcny 2y agoI would not really consider anyone “behind” when it comes to sniffing their own farts about LLMs. Everyone is just engaged at a different cycle in the fraud.
- a59b6f8b18 2y agoIf it's OpenRewrite recipes (not just the AI) making those Java upgrades happen, then Amazon should say so. A quick google search suggests that's likely based on AWS documentation. Nothing wrong with that approach, but it's a wordy announcement to be leaving out such an important clarification.
- notinmykernel 2y agoWhen Amazon executives like CEO Andy Jassy continue to make baseless and arguably fraudulent claims such as this, what is the legal recourse?
