The fact that in his first issue the author doesn't mention the method stringByAppendingString: makes me think he's not really well versed in Objective-C. I'd think every Objective-C dev that has spent a reasonable amount of time with the language would use this method for string concatenation in the situation he described (append one string with on another string). As such, I don't trust his experience with Objective-C enough to warrant his opinion on the language.
