- FeepingCreature 2y agoI want to call my bank and take Boeing out of the composition of my personalized synthetic index fond. Sadly, nobody offers that.
- alangibson 2y agoYou can just buy all the stocks of the S&P 500 minus Boeing.
- FeepingCreature 2y agoYeah but that's a lot of individual purchases I have to maintain and regularly rebalance. The fees alone would destroy it. I want "buy all S&P stocks minus Boeing" to be as easy and cheap as "buy Boeing".
- alangibson 2y agoFWIW InteractiveBrokers charges per share, not per transaction. You could theoretically automate rebalancing. I know it's overall pretty daft, but I've also had the 'personal ETF' idea.
