- RecycledEle 2y agoWhy not make a mostly-empty mesh from mined metals? Someone talked about 3D printing mostly hollow golf balls in outer space and dropping them onto a desert where they could be picked up .

- me_me_me 2y agoif space fuel is cheap you can just elongate your orbit and at the peak retro-burn to match the relative earth speed. Then release the cargo, it would fall with terminal velocity to earth. and burn with your cargo-craft back to establish the orbit.
