It's already easy for people to apply for jobs on LinkedIn. As a hiring manager, almost all the LinkedIn applications were low quality and not good fits. So it wasted a fair amount of my time, but at least it's easy to spot the ones that aren't suitable. This tool will make it harder to distinguish between applicants who are keen and those who are just spamming all available jobs. So congrats, you might make it to interview, but if your AI application does not accurately represent your skills, experience and interest in the role, you've just wasted a whole load of other people's time, including your own. I'd say about half of resumes we put through to interview already over represent their true experience and ability, to an almost fraudulent degree.
