- confluence 14y agoIt sure as hell was. Just way too early. Look at Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Vimeo and Veoh for some recent examples. It was also a success for its shareholders, with a perfectly timed sale just as the dotcom bubble reached its final crescendo. Not a good idea for Yahoo! though - but then again - you win some, you lose some.
