It's been 10 years or more where I learned to use windows. I haven't used windows since longer than a few minutes. The control panel is the last thing that was familiar to me. I am sure Powershell works great, but coming from Linux that feels like a badly designed pain not even shipping with a useable terminal. And don't get me wrong I hatet that control panel. But I was able to get things done without a lot of prior knowledge of the system.
