Totally good point. I wanted the question to be direct without coming off mysterious or creepy. I knew people might lie, but I took a chance and figured the amount of liars would be manageable. If I hadn’t gotten lucky in finding them in <10 texts, I may have abandoned the idea. Only one other person tried to claim they were the owner.
