That’s a slightly unfair characterization. VRC kept me sane during quarantine as I suspect it did for a lot of people. It’s also a nice oasis for people with a lot of social anxiety. Sure there’s unsavory content on there, no denying that. So does every platform with user generated content. Have you seen Meta Horizon? It’s no less than an Orwellian nightmare. I’ve seen people form meaningful relationships, and achieve amazing things by fostering a real sense of community.
