Does this really need to be a separate IDE (that too a fork of VS Code) than being just a VS Code extension? Getting a Rabbit R1 vibe

  I was turned off by this too, but the fact that it's compatible with all VSCode extensions makes migrating a non-event. fwiw, here's their explanation [1]: > Why Not an Extension? > As a standalone application, Cursor has more control over the UI of the editor, enabling greater AI integration.
