That's not good enough. It needs to be mandatory that these services be implemented as physical, user-removable modules. A software opt-in can never be really trusted.
- M95D 2y agoThis service is required by law in EU [1]. AFAIK, it is still legal to remove it after the car is bought, but I read somewhere there was a proposition to make that illegal too. In that case the car won't pass periodic inspection without it. Sometimes I wonder if Somalia or Afganistan accepts immigrants...
