  A lot of legitimate Firefox Addons say that. Just means Moz can't manually review every single extension if they want to allow their users a good extension experience...unlike developing Chrome extensions

      Different teams. In the case of extensions like this one should be asking , “Do I trust the author?”

That's a sidebar, they're not the same. It requires hacks to change the dimensions to a true split, and the things like zoom and extensions don't work the same in it. This is a half-measure at best.

I've tried it. It's not nearly half as good as Edge's split screen feature.
