There's a market for people who enjoy pretending to have a 100% Instagrammable life. I wonder how strong the correlation is between this group and people who are simply not happy with their own real life circumstances.
- Svoka 2y agoSims are (significantly) older than instagram. I have a lot of fun playin Sims games for like two decades now. I do as well enjoy playin other simulator games, like Sim City or Rollercoaster Tycoon.

- wil421 2y agoThere’s a huge market for living a Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption fantasy style life but only in video games. I’ve played all the GTAs since the beginning and I’ve never wanted to do it in real life.
- senkora 2y agoThink of it like playing with dolls. Kids playact through social situations to prepare them for adult life. There is a large market for doing this through videogames now.
