Most makers are trying to implement some form of self driving, even if it's just self parking while the owner is outside. Isn't there already a significant attack vector ? And the pressure is high for makers to bring more of these sooner than later, so having a more public and wider discussion on what this means on the security side is I think beneficial. Right now they're burying their head in the sand.
