This is the first time I’m hearing about this part of Texas. What else is wrong with it?

The district is notorious for patent cases, where they often seem to favor the plaintiff. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_District_Court_for_the_Eastern_District_of_Texas#Patent_litigation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_District_Court_f... I don't think anything else is particularly wrong with that part of Texas, other than typical political differences.

Samsung even made an outdoor ice skating rink in front of the court house for that reason. An ice skating rink. Outdoor. In Texas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bxcc3SM_KA&t=474s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bxcc3SM_KA&t=474s
