You don’t know what you’re talking about, and thus almost everything you said is hogwash.
Just to be clear, if the universe is holographic then this is purely a mathematical concept; it has nothing to do with Star Trek holograms, or even real–world holograms that you can make with lasers. If the holographic principle <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holographic_principle https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holographic_principle>, normally called anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory correspondence <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AdS/CFT_correspondence https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AdS/CFT_correspondence>, is true, then our 3D laws of physics are exactly equivalent to a different, simpler, set of laws that operate on a 2D surface. This seems weird and kooky to most people, and even a lot of physicists.
But here’s the thing: if it’s true, then there is a 1:1 correspondence between the 3D stuff we are used to and the weird 2D stuff. There is no “local classical communication in the holographic reality” as you put it, and photons cannot “communicate classically in the holographic reality”. You cannot add things to the laws of physics by conjecturing new things about “holographic reality”, because there is that 1:1 correspondence that rules all that stuff out. AdS/CFT is just a mathematical tool that lets physicists solve some problems in 2D space that would be intractable in 3D space. It doesn’t actually add anything new to physics.
Therefore everything you said was wrong. The only thing its good for is washing hogs, which you will note is not a common activity.
- OutOfHere 2y ago> You cannot add things to the laws of physics This actually doesn't apply, as no new law was added or updated, and no existing law was violated. Afaik, the 1:1 correspondence you claim is a feature of AdS/CFT which is just a toy model that you're peddling. If our universe is more like dS/CFT instead, then a strict correspondence is not that clear. No one here said anything about Star Trek or laser holograms, so such childish imaginations must be coming from your mind. With your level of confidence and arrogance, you would never have been able to detect the findings that the authors did. With your attitude, it will be a surprise if you ever discover anything at all. It is exactly due to your extreme inability to seek or study exceptions that you and others like you have been unable to expand the frontier of knowledge, whereas the authors of this study had no such flaw holding them back. > washing hogs Restoring to such immature language is a sign of lacking the basic mental capacity to hold an argument.
