Language, culture, family, friends, and missing awareness that conditions elsewhere might be actually better, to name a few?
- thayne 2y agoAlso, not everyone has the resources to move to another country.
- withinboredom 2y agoYou don't need much. Just a job willing to sponsor you, or be willing to start a business on an entrepreneurship visa.
- thayne 2y agoAnd enough money to relocate across an ocean, if you can find a job willing to sponsor you, which is not at all assured. And starting a business requires initial capital.
- withinboredom 2y agoIf a job is willing to sponsor you, they are usually willing to pay the relocation expenses up front. Just like in the US if they want you to relocate across the country.
- askonomm 2y agoPeople have migrated throughout thousands of years on much less than most people have today.
