Apparently Cosmos magazine in Australia is having the same experience, and their readers are getting pretty angry about it.
You probably need to put on your editor hat and do a lot of massaging to make it sound like a person actually wrote it. AI still speeds up the process, but so far it doesn't seem like it is reasonable to expect it to be very human-like.
- fuzzfactor 2y agoI was thinking along the same lines, you need professional editing for professional results that seem like they were written by thoughtful individuals. No differently than any other "content" which is churned out rapidly and mindlessly over the centuries. To make it appeal to actual readers, somebody has to take these sketchy drafts and refine them with a human touch. If you want to appeal to thoughtful individuals. Usually if it takes less time to put something into words than it takes for a person to read those words, something is wrong and people will be able to tell that there has been no professional treatment.
