You seem to be under the misapprehension that kids actually care about the reasons why they bully other kids, and they don't just do it because they're assholes who just want to bully someone and haven't learned how to treat each other yet.

- fluoridation 2y agoNo. The original complaint blamed Apple because kids bully each other. If you think kids bully each other because of the color of a message bubble then you don't understand kids. The idea that the problem would be solved by the feature being graphically different is laughably naive. Suppose that Apple made it so that encrypted and unencrypted messages were indistinguishable. Do you honestly think that would result in a net reduction in bullying? Because I think bullies just latch onto any reason they can to torment their victims.
