- WarOnPrivacy 2y agoIt's worth a read. Author composes a particularly heartfelt sell; it's for a recurring fundraiser for an adjacent non-profit. He blasts the mailing list and a lot of negative-posing-as-helpful responses start populating the mail thread. Lots of donations also come in but zero donors add to the thread - ostensibly because each believe they're alone and don't want criticism directed at them.
