I don't think "we're going to take away your vacations" is going to be a winning line, especially for essentially no payoff.

I think it's a dubious proposition that aircraft are worse than driving a similar distance. https://afdc.energy.gov/data/10311 https://afdc.energy.gov/data/10311 The worst thing you can say is that aircraft allow people to travel more miles than they would have otherwise. I could fly to Cancun and burn more fuel than my car uses in a year.
