YouTube should be the main platform the government should form into a public institution. Not only due to its historical and cultural significance, but also due to the fact that it is (almost assuredly) unprofitable and thus at-risk.

- tourmalinetaco 2y agoIf a for-profit company does not provide its annual profits, it’s safe to say it’s not doing well. Especially as Alphabet does so elsewhere. Additionally, would they have become so ad-aggressive in the last few years if they have been making a profit?
- carlosjobim 2y agoLooking forward to only being able to stream government approved video. It was a success in the last century, I've heard.
