Really cool with great execution.
Out of curiosity, I'd love to know more:
- how the backend look like?
- Are the channels are based on a static pool of videos by category?
- Is there a "schedule" for a channel or picked at random?
- hadisafa 2y ago- There is no backend, just html, css, and js - yes channels are based on categories(science, travel, documentaries, etc.) - yes there is a schedule, each video is scheduled to play at a certain time, so everyone is watching the same exact thing.
- brandon272 2y agoI love that this is a small amount of plain html and js, as I think the instinct for a lot of folks these days in creating this would have been to invest a lot of time in using the frameworks du jour.

- wooly_bully 2y agoTwo requests! 1. unique urls per channel so I can send it to a friend and say "check this out" 2. up + down keys for changing channels
