- micromacrofoot 2y agoAre you suggesting apartment buildings, which are a feature in every major city on the planet, contribute to mental illness? and that you'd prefer living in a car as opposed to a fairly standard place that millions of people live in?
- immibis 2y agoThat's exactly what they're suggesting. It's one of many right-wing talking points designed to keep the poor poor, with no basis in reality.
- throwaway48540 2y agoThere's nothing right wing about this.
- micromacrofoot 2y agothey do hate cities though
- throwaway48540 2y agoDo they? Where I live, right wing people live in cities and hate the subsidies to rural left wing farmers.
- forgetfreeman 2y agoI've never even heard of a left wing farmer before, much less met one. They don't appear to be a thing on the east coast.

- forgetfreeman 2y agoThrough what mechanism does noting that cramped conditions are cramped and that generally causes issues enforce income inequality? Note renting is abdicating a major avenue of wealth generation to your landlord.
- immibis 2y agoThrough what mechanism do you find having 25m² to yourself and having use of a kitchen and bathroom cramped? Did you not grow up like that, or worse?
- forgetfreeman 2y agoI am absolutely suggesting that the rise in cramped rental accommodations contribute to mental illness. Fast food consumption has been thoroughly normalized too so I'm skeptical of the idea that because millions of people are doing it it's somehow perfectly fine.
