Imagine doing the same for songs, albums, books, etc. "Failure" is the norm. Success is an outlier, sometimes best attributed to luck. That aside, it's not always the ideas that fail. The idea can be solid, but the execution and/or marketing shite. People looking for startup ideas would be wise to seek out failures.
