I would agree if this were the reason. But it's not the reason. The US gov't admits this is largely due to unrestricted Palestinians being able to post on TikTok when US social media is forced to ban them (Meta, etc.) I just don't think my gov't should be able to ban me from seeing information online. I hate China, but I hate my government banning my own consumption of media more.
