Foreign accent can unfairly destroy your credibility
- bell-cot 2y agoDelete the word "foreign". I had a friend in mechanical engineering - a very big, "manly" white American - who had an awesome Southern accent. Which he would only speak in briefly, among friends. Because (his wording) "otherwise people deduct 30 points from my IQ as soon as I open my mouth".
