This article is infuriating. Morgan McKinley calling job seekers 'lazy' makes me sick. The entire article misses the most obvious point. If AI can easily pass your selection processes, then the problem is your selection process.
CVs need to show the candidate’s personality, their passions, their story, and that is something AI simply can’t do.
I'm sorry but if you honestly think a CV can give any reasonable insight into someones personality, then you have no business reviewing CVs in the first place.
- raverbashing 2y ago> CVs need to show the candidate’s personality, their passions, etc Yeah no. Even more aggravating is that you'll find most recruiters don't want the fluff on the CV
- drillsteps5 2y agoIf the only way to pass initial screening process is to pack the resume with as many keywords as possible guess what people are going to do. Write about their interests and passions?
- datavirtue 2y agoYeah, the whole point is to boil off your personality.
