  Likely true, but so what? LinkedIn already has very little value for job seekers (or recruiters) except as a numbers game because of its scale. Adding more spam to it doesn't improve anything, and spamming out CVs won't make recruiters stop posting junk.

  I'd love to know what percentage of linkedin posts are entirely AI generated these days. LinkedIn even prompt you to allow AI to rewrite your post using AI.

This article is infuriating. Morgan McKinley calling job seekers 'lazy' makes me sick. The entire article misses the most obvious point. If AI can easily pass your selection processes, then the problem is your selection process. CVs need to show the candidate’s personality, their passions, their story, and that is something AI simply can’t do. I'm sorry but if you honestly think a CV can give any reasonable insight into someones personality, then you have no business reviewing CVs in the first place.

  If the only way to pass initial screening process is to pack the resume with as many keywords as possible guess what people are going to do. Write about their interests and passions?

A carefully crafted statement taking hours to prepare would be fine if the recruiter actually read the CV and statements! AI vs automated recruitment software.

So the recruiters can tell the resume is written by the AI using tell-tale signs like "using American grammar" and being "bland"? These are the people who decide if I'm worthy of hiring consideration??? In the middle of fruitless job hunt, it makes me feel a bit better. It's definitely NOT me.
