I’m Canadian and moved to UK 5 years ago. I’m experiencing significantly lower cost of living, comparatively affordable housing, higher salaries, much more dynamic economy and better employment opportunities, vastly better healthcare system and social services, better support for immigrants, understandable and accessible government services and in general a far more caring and cohesive culture. All this for no more than I was paying in taxes in Canada.
