That's not really true and not really a thing. Unemployment in tech is even lower than the general economy. It just stopped being massively overheated.
- ghaff 2y agoThe 2010s and early=on in the pandemic were extraordinary for (certain) jobs in tech. The meme of I can quit my job Friday and have a significantly higher-paying job by the end of the next week may not really have been the norm in tech, But it was certainly unheard of with professional jobs, inclusing in engineering, historically unless you were a celebrity of some sort in the field.
