That's not illegal. But it should carry liability. > should be forced to open the code we pay them for Sure. But that doesn't guarantee that's the code they're running. That's why ballot-counting machines have an auditable WORM lifetime count that anyone can verify from election to election. You don't trust the software. Separately, none of this has anything to do with voter registration.
