should is controlling word with a hint of shaming.
It specifies the correct way of doing things from an indiviuduals perspective which is always untrue.
I do things my way.
I do keto so a loads of cheese is always on the menu.
- JohnFen 2y agoI agree. I usually ignore stories that include the word "should" (especially if the story is about diet) in that way, for the reasons you state. I think you should eat all of the cheese that you have and feel like eating, and not a morsel more.
