ARM32 End of an Era or Is It?

  As long as there are embedded systems, there will be 8, 16 or 32 bit architectures; even the Arm v8 microcontrollers are still 32 bit.

    I agree. I wonder what NASA and SpaceX are using.

      I would rather look at mass products where each byte and megahertz adds to the manufacturing costs. The systems NASA or SpaceX are developing are essentially one-of, where manufacturing costs are by far not the major concern.

        Still they can't use a high TDP system because of weight restrictions on their spacecrafts. Unless they find a better power source something like nuclear batteries.
