As Mozilla chose to abandon it, is Firefox still using servo?
- bkardell 2y agoBits of the servo project were integrated into FF/Gecko in Quantum (https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/introducing-firefox-quantum/ https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/introducing-firefox-quan...) - there's shared work where improvements in either end can help either.
- cjpearson 2y agoStylo (CSS Engine) and WebRender (compositor) came from Servo and are still used in Firefox. I believe the Mozilla team still upstreams patches as well.
- fabrice_d 2y agoActually Mozilla is the upstream for both projects now.
