What would it mean for open source to "win?" I mean, in 1990, there were dozens of unix workstation vendors, and dozens of flavors of unix...but they were just exterminated by linux.
- wmf 2y agoJust looking at the desktop market, MacOS has gained a lot more share than Linux. This implies that there is/was an opening that Linux did not take advantage of. (I didn't watch the video so this may be completely off topic.)
