My project Plandex[1] fits somewhere between aider and opendevin in terms of autonomy, so you might find it interesting. It attempts to complete a task autonomously in terms of implementing all the code, regardless of how many steps that takes, but it doesn’t yet try to auto-select context, execute code, or debug its own errors.
