I used to have debilitating depression. SSRIs and similar drugs never worked. Eventually I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 and given lamotrigine, and it solved my depression completely.
- maleldil 2y agoThat's a common story. Research has shown that a significant portion of people with treatment-resistant depression are, in fact, bipolar, with bipolar 2 being more susceptible to depressive episodes.
