Ask HN: Should duplicate HN submissions have names of all submitters?
Or maybe HN could show links to earlier submissions automatically near the top?

- amichail 2y agoIf you only show the names from earlier submissions, then it would encourage people to submit news quickly.
- simonblack 2y agoBetter yet. Stop any repeat submissions of the same article for at least four days. "Sorry. That article has been submitted already." Time and time again we get the same article submitted by half a dozen (or more) submitters over the course of several days. ONCE is plenty.
- JojoFatsani 2y agoDigg had this feature 2006 or earlier. Not sure about slashdot.
