- dredmorbius 2y agoTo put this more clearly: Twitter, if it renders at all (it doesn't for me, and I can't be arsed why), presents only a single tweet, for anyone not logged in to an account. Edit: That's behaviour which has changed in the past year or so. The only reliable way for now to see a full thread is Threadreader, as submitted in this post.
- cpeterso 2y agoOr change the Twitter URL from x.com to the xcancel.com proxy: https://xcancel.com/jason_kint/status/1821554841786683554 https://xcancel.com/jason_kint/status/1821554841786683554
- dredmorbius 2y agoBased on the page source, that's based on Nitter, which is increasingly challenged by recent Twitter developments. From page source: <meta property="og:site_name" content="Nitter" /> Nitter: "Guest accounts have been removed, they weren't just led to believe that. With real accounts getting rate limited immediately and likely banned, I don't see any path forward for Nitter." <https://github.com/zedeus/nitter/issues/983#issuecomment-1913362376 https://github.com/zedeus/nitter/issues/983#issuecomment-191...> Via: <https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39161194 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39161194> That said ... for now, yes, that does actually show the relevant image links in context, which is helpful.
