Cisco to lay off thousands more in second job cut this year
- Ancalagon 2y ago> Its shares fell nearly 1% after Reuters first reported the cuts. The stock was down over 9% this year as of Thursday's close. Kind of glad the days of improving stock prices due to layoffs appear to be over, even if it means these companies are actually struggling now and we are possibly bordering on recession.
- slowspinnydisk 2y agoDisagree w the notion that “big tech is doing another round of layoffs” Intel, Dell and Cisco all have their own unique problems that are contributing to loss of market share. Its mostly orthogonal to companies like amazon, meta, google doing layoffs
