Would love to see my kids master games like Ultima Online or Everquest ... too bad nothing like that exists today.
- aidenn0 2y agoReally? Everyone I know who could be described as having mastered Everquest flunked out of college. I'm fortunate that I could never get into those games. I beta tested UOL and tried everquest for about 6 months.
- Eumenes 2y agoLol well, yes, I wouldn't want them to spend as much time as I did on them. But I ran a guild and learned alot of important social skills that translated well to the business world.
- toast0 2y agoUO today isn't the same as UO back in the day, but it's still around. There's a community of reverse engineered servers that he plays on for free, he got tired of paying for the real server. Can't really get the same experiences without the people though.
