That works only if you intend to open/visit all links. Seeing doesn't count. Not all stories are worth checking out. This script allows me to decide based on titles of new stories if I want to visit it or not.
If used as a userscript, a page refresh to highlights new stories automatically, as a bookmarklet I decide when if I want to check if there have been any new stories I haven't seen.
- RaftPeople 2y agoI wrote something very similar. For mine I have a check box for whether I am interested or not (with perm storage). My presentation shows all new items first then previous items I'm interested in (checked), then all others. Each time I open it up I just click the ones I want to retain, all others drop to the bottom.
