Both Gates and Ballmer have this over the top personalities where yelling and screaming and throwing things is part of a day's work. We saw that type of energy over and over in the presentations they gave and the articles written about them. Nadella is a different type of CEO so the culture will follow his lead. I doubt throwing chairs is one of his go-to moves. He has other ways to make his point.
