As I understand it Cloanto isn't a lawsuit-centric company, it was a long-time developer of software for the Amiga, then the creator (with Amiga's blessing) of AmigaForever. Hyperion Entertainment was the lawfare company.

- snvzz 2y agoIt isn't so simple. AmigaOS 3.1.4/3.2 being an Hyperion effort. Meanwhile, the community still does not have access to the historical source code repository, which should by all means have been open sourced ages ago by Cloanto, who definitely has the right (and moral obligation) to do so.
