It's entirely possible that the majority of election officials care more about election integrity than cheating. Even if 80% of the election managers were "in on the grift" it wouldn't stop the other 20% from calling them out. And it certainly wouldn't protect them once they submit their ballots to the state for analysis. You should volunteer locally as an election manager and see how it works firsthand.
