Having testicles is not really about "conforming to stereotypical, European standards of womanhood" - is more of a biologial feature distinguishing males from females except in the presence of rare development abnormalities. Of course one may also say that there is no point in trying to distinguish males from females and we should just supress the sex categories - or keep them open to anyone and let people choose where to compete.
