It sounds like they'd burn out and quit, and management would rather find them a place where they can stay than lose them.
- WalterBright 2y agoIt's not about burnout. It's about otherwise competent engineers who are paralyzed by fear of making a mistake. Finding a productive place for them, where their expertise counts, but peoples' lives don't hang on the results, is just good management.
