Reddit CEO teases AI search features and paid subreddits
- mrinfinitiesx 2y ago'Teases' -> Sold everybody's data to google for $60million, now going to sell it right back to you with ads based on your data.. Make the search so horrible that it barely works, slap AI on it, profit.
- lofaszvanitt 2y agoSearch always was terrible, the whole reddit UI experience is just plain terrible. The whole platform doesn't facilitate, rather kills discussion with its idiotic upvote downvote system. Also: noone should be banned forever. What for? The whole reddit experience is just plain old and dated. Aaron Schwarz is turning in his grave.
- mouse_ 2y agoSo I'm paying Reddit to see posts other people paid Reddit to make? I was typing out an elaborate rebuttal but I think in this case LOL will suffice. old.reddit.com is still better than the new slow, broken trash. Especially on mobile. What happens when a company can no longer compete with its own past? Stagnation and malice.
